Selective herbicide for the control of Winter Grass in lawn turf. Mixes readily with water for easy application. Breaks down quickly so there’s no residue left in the soil.
Selective Winter Grass control in Blue Couch, Common Couch, Bent, Buffalo (including Sir Walter DNA Certified Buffalo) and Brown top Lawns.
Cannot be used on Kikuyu or Fescue lawns.
2-3 applications required.
Active constituent: 175g/L Endothal as the Dipotassium Salt.
Will treat 200m2 in total.
Should be applied with a fine spray as soon as the winter grass appears and before it has a chance to flower and set seed.
TIP 1: Mix one cap of household dishwashing liquid or Manta Ray Surfactant (follow label rates) into your prepared, diluted Winter Grass Killer (follow label rates) to help effectively penetrate the leaf of the weed. This addition enhances the uptake of herbicides, allowing them to effectively penetrate leaves, without causing damage to non-target plants.
TIP 2: You should apply herbicides such as Winter Grass Killer when temperatures are lower than 25 degrees Celsius; ideally in the early morning or late afternoon. Avoid applying products in the middle of the day when the sun is at its hottest. When products are applied when the sun is at its hottest, you are more likely to experience some burning to the leaf.
