Battle Insecticide is a powerful knockdown and residual pesticide that works through direct contact and by residual action as the pest comes into contact with treated surfaces. Battle is a liquid concentrate that contains the active ingredient Bifenthrin, plus a surfactant to help the product adhere on application.
Battle treats a broad range of lawn pests including:
- Lawn Armyworm
- African Black Beetle Adults
- Funnel Ants & other species
- Subterranean Termites
- Argentine Stem Weevil
- Billbug Adults
- Papernest Wasps
- Midges, Fleas & Ticks
Battle Insecticide can be used as a protective treatment when applied at regular intervals or as a knockdown treatment to control existing pests
TIP 1: Mix one cap of household dishwashing liquid or Manta Ray Surfactant (follow label rates) into your prepared, diluted Battle Insecticide (follow label rates) to help effectively penetrate the leaf. This addition enhances the uptake of insecticides.
TIP 2: You should apply insecticides such as Battle when temperatures are lower than 25 degrees Celsius; ideally in the early morning or late afternoon. Avoid applying products in the middle of the day when the sun is at its hottest. When products are applied when the sun is at its hottest, you are more likely to experience some burning to the leaf.
