Charities & Community Groups

All funds raised go directly to Camp Quality Illawarra who brightens the lives of kids with cancer by bringing hope and happiness to them, and their families, through dedicated support programs.

Quackfest is one of the largest locally community run charity events in the Shoalhaven.

All profits from the Quackfest are used to fund charities associated with education, homelessness and domestic violence.

Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is an opportunity for friends, family or workmates to come together, share a cuppa and some delicious food, and help those affected by cancer.

Cancer Council’s Pink Ribbon Day helps raise funds in support of the many thousands of Australian women affected by breast and gynaecological cancers. Cancer Council aims to minimise the threat of women’s cancers through successful prevention, best treatment, support and world-class cancer research.

Welcome! Relay For Life is a fun and moving overnight experience that raises vital funds for the Cancer Council’s research, prevention, information and support services. Relay is a chance for the Nowra community to recognise and celebrate local cancer survivors, patients and their carers, to honour and remember loved ones lost to cancer and to raise money to help save more lives.

The Movember Foundation aims to raise funds to address the state of mens health. Mental health, prostate cancer and testicular cancer are all core issues that Movember is addressing on a global scale.

Berry RSL Sub-branch – Providing for the well-being, care, compensation and commemoration of serving and ex-serving Defence Force personnel and their dependants and promote Government and Community awareness.

The Shoalhaven Heads Golf Club is a locally run golf course that was originally community funded. Turfco provides grass related services to ensure the sustainability of the club for the community.

The Historical Aircraft Restoration Society Inc (HARS) is a not-for-profit organisation and was formed in 1979 by a group of aviation enthusiasts interested in the preservation of Australian aviation history.
